Sadguru Bapu to Start Discourses again

PARAM POOJYA BAPU’S PRAVACHANS TO RESUME AGAIN
Discourse by Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu on 14th May 2009
On the Thursday of 14th May 2009, Bapu delivered His discourse as usual again at New English High School ground at Bandra East, Mumbai. Bapu took stock of activities that happened during the event of Datta Yag and also gave everyone a surprise.
At the very start, results of Sai Samarth Vigyan Prabodhini’s Panchasheel Examination (Dvitiya or 2nd Examination were announced). Lalitaveera Wagh from Pune was declared as the first ranker for the examination.
Bapu then told everyone that conversion of everyone’s manah (mind) to chitta (conscience) would be done 10 times proportional to everybody respective bhav (faith and love) for all those devotees who participated in Niyati Chakra Parivartan Pradakshina, Shree Sarvato-Bhadra Kumbh Yatra and Shree Dwadasha-Jyotirlinga Kailash Mahapujan, the three rituals that took place during the Datta Yag.
Bapu also said that the worship (pujan) and pradakshina (encircling) of 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatrey by all the devotees present at Datta Yag has helped the devotees to strengthen their love and faith towards their Guru or has increased their Guru-bhav.
Bapu then narrated a short story of Lord Sai Baba which Bapu’s grandmother, ‘Mai’ had narrated to Bapu:
“Dev Mamledar and Kaka Mahajani were once being abused by Lord Sai Baba. At that time there were few Bhaktas who had come from Mumbai who were present in Dwarka Mai, Shirdi. At that time Bapu’s grandmother Mai was also present in Dwarka Mai. The Mumbaikars thought, what kind of Sadguru is Sai? If he abuses his followers in this unparliamentary way then one cannot term Sai as Sadguru. Mai was present there and finally when comments by these Mumbaikars crossed all limits Mai broke her silence. She asked them if Sai doesn’t have any problem, if Mamledar and Mahajani don’t have any problem, infact they gracefully accepted the abuse as its was by their Sadguru Sainath, then who are you to raise an objection on Sai’s actions? This totally silenced those Mumbaikars.
But we come across a very good theory through this story that one shouldn’t define any criteria for Sadguru or shouldn’t define what He should do or say.
One can always avoid his sufferings, problems and troubles through his Sadguru but for that to happen one should always believe that his Sadguru is the Almighty and the only One.
Then it was the time for surprises and waves of cheers all across the venue of New English High School.
During monsoon time the seating arrangement for devotees who want to attend Bapu’s discourse is done inside the building of New English High School, rather than in open ground as it is done in the summer and the winter.
Bapu announced that when the seating arrangement again comes out on open in the month of October Bapu would start the full-length discourses on subject of 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatrey that were put up for worship and viewing (Darshan). Bapu said that there wont be a fixed timeline for the completion of discourse on this topic.
But after the discourse ends on subject of 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatrey, Bapu would restart with discourses on Vishnu-Sahastranam from where he had left it (to start discourses on Shree Ram Raksha).
Bapu also re-announced that He is in process of writing a book on Goddess Adi-Mata, which would be published very soon by the Sanstha. This book like Ramrasayan, written earlier by Bapu would be made available to the bhaktas for pathaan (recitation).

Hanuman Chalisa Pathan at Gurkushetram

Similar to last year, this year also we are celebrating 'HANUMAN MAHOSTAV' at Gurukshetram ( i.e. Happy Home , Khar- West ) from 11th to 17th May '09.

P.P. BAPU informed that this ' Yantra ' is unique in the entire Universe as HE is unique. The main feature of this ' Yantra ' is to give ' Kshama' to 'Mahapapi' also ; provided he surrenders, admits his mistakes / sins in front of ' Yantra ' and do best at his level not to repeat the mistakes.
We the Pratyaksha2025 team Request to inform your relatives / friends in India to visit Gurukshetram at least once during these 7 days and take Darshan of Yantra, chant Chalisa and admits mistakes in front of Yantra.

Floods - 2009 : Mumbai Precautions
A valuable input from BMC is being circulated for your information. Floods - 2009: Mumbai
Floods in Mumbai are attributable to simultaneous occurrence of rainfall and high tides. If, the rainfall is in excess of 200 mm in a day (24 hrs), floods can occur anytime irrespective of tides. However, if there is moderate rainfall but the tide is in excess of 4.50 meters at the same time, the city of Mumbai is sure to get flooded.
Accordingly, heavy floods are anticipated on the following days in Mumbai, if there is excessive rainfall at the time of high tides, since the tides are extremely high on these days: -
| Date | Day | Time | Height of Tide (Meters) |
| 24-Jun-09 | Wednesday | 1:41PM | 4.95 |
| 25-Jun-09 | Thursday | 2:24PM | 4.97 |
| 23-Jul-09 | Thursday | 1:23PM | 5.01 |
| 24-Jul-09 | Friday | 2:03PM | 5.05 |
| 25-Jul-09 | Saturday | 2:43PM | 4.94 |
BMC has already planned to keep the schools closed on 24 July 2009 since the tide level is record high of last 100 years on this day.
Mumbaites are, therefore, requested to cooperate with the administration by restricting their movements and certainly not to take their vehicles out on the roads these days.
There are speculations about very high waves on 22 July 2009 due to solar eclipse.
Public should, therefore, keep away from the beaches that day

Discourse by Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu on 19th March 2009.

“Guru Bhavah Paramtirtham, Anya Tirtham Nirarthakam, l
Sarva Tirthashrayam Devi Padangushthecha Vartate ll
Om Brahma-Vishnu- Maheshwarebhyam Namah” ll
Bapu explained the meaning of this Aradhna Jyoti given in the Aradhan Jyoti Pustika. The entire Aradhna Jyoti is dedicated to Sadguru. Bapu started His discourse by explaining a small part of prose from Shree Hanuman Challisa. Hanuman Challisa starts with “Shree Guru Charan Saroj Raj, Nij Manu Mukur Sudhari”. Manu Mukur means let my brow be covered and bestowed with the grace of having Sadguru’s charan-dhul (soil touched by Sadguru’s feet). One should gauge the importance of Sadguru’s charan dhul from this when an extremely pure and sacred hymn like Hanuman Challisa describes it this way. Our mind, conscience and thinking that are muddied by various shadripus (attractions and honey-traps) which can be cleaned only by Sadguru and no one else.
Bapu further drew a reference from Shree Sunderkand which says that “Garala Sudha Ripu Karahi Mitai” which means that with Sadguru’s blessings even our foe transforms to our friend. To explain this in the real sense Bapu says that, a foe becoming a friend means, whatever our foe does against us turns to be blessing in disguise and it actually becomes beneficial to us.
Bapu says that Ram- Bhakta (devotee) Hanumant’s Challisa starts with praise, respect and adoration of Sadguru, which illustrates that Sadguru and Parmatma (God), (here Parmatma Ram) are not different but one and the same. For any endeavor to be successful in our life we need backing and blessings of Sadguru. Only Sadguru can do ‘Labhevin Priti’ (Unconditional, true and non-returns expecting love).
Bapu further goes to explain that even a book can be our Sadguru. Great religious granthas (sacred books) like Sunderkand, Shree Sai Sat Charit, Grantharaj Shreemad Purushartha, etc can also be our Sadguru.
Then Bapu switched to the topic of recitations. Many people boast of completion recitations of some religious text or hymn for some stipuled number of times viz., reciting Hanuman Challisa or Ram Raksha or Ghorkashta Uddharana Stotra, etc for 108, times, etc. Bapu explained that definitely these recitations are helpful and do give excellent results to bhaktas but a recitation will be truly helpful and would be impregnated by the blessings of Sadguru only when they are performed from bottom of one’s heart only out of love for God. Moreover one shouldn’t get on Could 9 after he finishes his recitation. Bapu Himself also does these recitations. So He advises all the bhaktas to do the same but, further goes on to explain that as one goes on increasing his recitations his love, devotion towards Sadguru should increase and ego should decrease. Bapu also promises that even if one doesn’t have complete concentration towards his recitations or if one thinks
about the other worldly things during the process of recitations and worship, even if one makes numerous mistakes like these Sadguru will always take his care and accept his offering of recitations gleefully. Only He can do it because Sadguru is the ultimate zenith of Love, Purity, Compassion, etc. Bapu says that to win Sadguru one needs to put in mahat-prayas (extreme efforts).
Bapu gives example of Vibhishan (demon king Ravan’s brother) here. Bapu says one’s trust on his Sadguru should be like Vibhishan. Goddess Sita was kidnapped and imprisoned by Ravan. Lord Ram couldn’t even locate Her for the start (actually Lord knows everything but has to follow human limitations when he descends on this earth. And out of those human limitations Lord Ram chose to search for Sita with keeping in mind the human boundaries set which He was abiding voluntarily) . Now Vibhishan was the amongst the senior most ministers of Ravan’s cabinet, he was Ravan’s brother, This was the same Ravan who had kidnapped and imprisoned Goddess Sita. Looking at this situation from a layman’s point of view any body would assume Lord Ram to be a normal human being and not Parmatma. But in spite of this, Vibhishan worshipped Lord Ram as his Sadguru and finally joined forces with Him against his own brother.
Bapu further says that if one feels proud of one self after achieving success and out of this thinking says that ‘I have done this, I got success, I am great, etc’ then he looses everything. For any success, credit should always be given to Sadguru. It is because of him that one achieves success and climbs new peaks of prosperity.
So now to inculcate this love, affection, worship, surrender and thoughts towards Sadguru one should chant this Aradhan Jyoti No. 17 everyday. The best time for the recitation of the same is the time when we get up from bed and the time when we go to sleep. At the time of getting up we should first recite mantras like “Om Krupa Sindhu Shri Sai Nathaya Namah”, “Om Abhay-data Shri Swami Samarthaya Namah”, “Om Manasamarthyadata Shri Aniruddha Namah”, etc and then start with this hymn. At the bedtime one can start it directly
