Sadguru Shri Gopinath Shastri Padhye birthday

Today is birthday of P.P. Bapu's ' manavi ' Sadguru Shri Gopinath Shastri Padhye. He was born on 14th June 1864.

We have to remember him today by chanting the following mantra 108 times :

' Om Shri Vidya Makarand Gopinathay Namaha '

By remembering him today, we will be blessed with 'bhakti' similar to what he acquired.

The above article has appeared in the one of the leading English national dailies, namely DNA (issue dated Saturday, 29th May 2010). The article has praiseworthy details about our P. P. Aniruddha Bapu and activities inspired by Him. The article is about one such activity i.e. about the organization of the world record breaking Blood Donation Camp held by Shiv Sena 25th April 2010 in Mumbai at National Exhibition Centre which now finds mention in Guinness Book of World Records . Sadguru Aniruddha Upasana Foundation was at the very heart of managing the Camp. Another allied organization of SAUF namely AADM (Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management) which had also sent its number of well-trained volunteers (DMVs or Disaster Management Volunteers as they are called) have always been in the forefront in helping various police, para-military, municipal, local, state and central governement agencies in crowd control, disaster management and associated planning, disaster management training and awareness, first-aid operations (medical first response), research and rescue operations, etc. The article also contains interview of our Chief Executive Officer of our Sadguru Aniruddha Upasana Foundation (SAUF) Shri. Sunilsinh Mantri.

SAUF itself also organizes an annual Blood Donation Camp in the month of April every year which is has been termed as "Model" of planning, organization and managing of a Blood Donation Camp by none other than Maharashtra Rajya Rakta Sankraman Parishad which is the nodal government agency of Government of Maharashtra for any activity concerning blood donation, storage, etc. activities.

श्री साईप्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्व

श्री साईप्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्वश्री साई प्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्व म्हणजे श्रद्धावानांसाठी प्रकटलेली साक्षात गंगा आहे. या गंगेत मी मारलेली डुबकी माझ्या भक्तीचा खजिना समृद्ध करते व माझ्या पापांचा नाशही करते. येणाऱ्या तिसऱ्या महायुद्धासारख्या भीषण काळामध्ये ही गंगा माझ्यासाठी आई बनून रक्षण करणारच. कारण या गंगेचे उगम आणि मुखही श्री अनिरुद्ध गुरूक्षेत्रम आहे,तर आदिमाता अनसूया गंगोत्री आहे.
सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांनी माझा प्रपंच व परमार्थ साधून देण्यासाठी मला बहाल केलेली ही सुवर्णसंधी आहे. १०० वर्षापूर्वी म्हणजे १९०८ च्या पौष पौर्णिमेस म्हणजेच शाकंभरी पौर्णिमेस ह्या पर्वाची सुरुवात झाली, व १९१० च्या विजया दशमीस ह्या पर्वाची सांगता झाली होती. सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या कृपाशिर्वादामुळे त्यांनी आजही माझ्या अभ्युदयासाठी हा सुवर्णकाळ पुन्हा माझ्या जीवनात आणला आहे. ह्या श्री साई प्रदत्त अभ्युदय पर्वाची सांगता अनिरुद्ध पौर्णिमा २०१० रोजी म्हणजेच २१ नोव्हेंबर २०१० रोजी होणार आहे.
सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांनी आपला अक्षय पारमार्थिक खजिना श्रद्धावानांसाठी सताड उघडा टाकला आहे व तो लुटून नेण्याची विशेष संधी ह्या पर्व काळात त्यांनी श्रद्धावानांना दिली आहे.

ह्या खजिन्याची प्राप्ती व्हावी म्हणून मला ह्या पर्व काळात तीन प्रमुख गोष्टी करायच्या आहेत त्या म्हणजे --
१) सदगुरू दत्तात्रेयांचे स्मरण व खालील श्लोकाचे पठण -

" अनसूयोत्रिसंभूतो दत्तात्रेयो दिगंबर:
स्मर्तुगामी स्वभक्तानाम उद्धार्ता भवसंकटात "
भावार्थ : अनसूया (असूयाविरहित) ,अत्रिंपासून संभवलेला, दिशा हेच वस्त्र असणारा ,स्मरणासवेच प्रकट होणारा ,भवसंकटातून आपल्या भक्तांचा उद्धार करणारा असा हा दत्तात्रेय आहे.

२) सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांचे स्मरण व श्री अनिरुद्ध गायत्री मंत्राचे पठण -

" ॐ मन: प्राण: प्रज्ञा, ॐ ततगुरु दत्तस्य ,
उष्णं स्निग्धम गुरो: तेजो धीमही रामे चित्तलया ओजः
अनिरुद्ध राम: प्रचोदयात "
भावार्थ : मन प्राण प्रज्ञा ह्या तीन व्याहृति आहेत.त्या गुरूदत्तांच्या उष्ण , स्निग्ध, व गुरुतेजाचे आम्ही ध्यान करतो. आमच्या चित्ताचा लय श्रीराम चरणी होवो, त्यासाठी श्री अनिरुद्धराम आमच्या ओजाला
प्रबळ प्रेरणा देवो.

३) सदगुरू श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या पणजी द्वारकामाई पाध्ये यांनी विरचित केलेले आद्यकाव्य म्हणजेच खालील अभंग व त्याचे पठण -

"ज्याने धरिले हे पाय, आणि ठेविला विश्वास ||
त्यासी कधी ना अपाय, सदा सुखाचा सहवास ||
हे पाय पुरातन फार, केवळ हाची हो आधार ||
साई साई म्हणता धार, धीर गंगेची अपार ||
हे पाय कैसे तुमचे , हे तर आमुच्या सत्तेचे ||
ह्यांना नाही सोडणार, तू मरे- मरे- तो मार ||
जय जय राम कृष्ण हरी, साई झालासी त्रिपुरारी ||
तू येसी आमुच्या दारी, तू केवळ अनिरुद्ध हारी ||"
भावार्थ : ज्याने अनिरुद्धांचे पाय घट्ट धरून ठेवले आणि त्या 'पायाखाली' दृढ विश्वास ठेवला, त्याला कधीही कोणताही अपाय होणारच नाही,त्याला सदैव सुखाचा सहवास लाभणारच.जसा पपेरवेट खाली ठेवलेला कागद वारयाने उडून जात नाही,तसाच ह्याच्या पायाखाली जो विश्वास ठेवतो,त्याचा विश्वास कधीच उडत नाही,अढळ राहतो.

अनिरुद्ध त्रिपुरारी त्रिविक्रम बनून कश्यासाठी आला आहे त्याचे मर्म हा अभंग समजावून सांगतो. म्हणूनच हा अभंग आमचे जीवन 'अभंग' बनविणारा आहे.

Shree Hanuman Challisa Pathan

Shree Hanuman Challisa Pathan (Chanting) 108 times daily will start from Sunday, 16th May 2010 to Monday, 24th May 2010 at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram (Happy Home) Khar, Mumbai.

P. P. Bapu in His one of the discourses in the last month of April has mentioned Shree Hanuman Challisa as one of the essentials for days to come along with Shree Aniruddha Gayatri Mantra and Shree Ghanta Mantra.

The event is in line with announcement of Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu made couple of years back that the pujan of all the Gods and Goddess at Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram would be performed once a year. The period starting from Vaishakh (month in Hindu calendar which generally coincides with month of May in the English calendar) and 9 days in it, every year is the period that will be specifically designated for chanting of Shree Hanuman Challisa.

Shree Aniruddha Gurukshetram is considered as a pilgrim place which imparts benefit of visiting 108 other holy or pilgrim place. It is the holiest and the most sacred of the places’ in the universe.

Shree Hanuman Challisa Pathan (Chanting)
starts at 8:00 am in the morning and culminates at 7 : 00 pm in the evening.

Death Sentence for Ajmal Kasab(Hang till death)

A Mumbai Special Court, which conducted the trial of 26/11 terror strikes, announced the death penalty for Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist. The sentencing by Judge M L Tahiliyani makes Kasab the 52nd person on death row in India. Kasab was handed capital punishment for killing 72 people and waging war against the state.

Kasab got the death sentence on four counts, while he got life-term in five other cases.

Kasab, a Pakistan citizen, has turned into one of India's costliest prisoners. Till now, the Government has spent over 35 crore rupees for his safety.

Public prosecutor, Ujjwal Nikam, described him as "worse than a wild beast... Kasab is a killing machine... and the orders for this machine came from Pakistan."

On Monday, Kasab was found guilty on more than 80 of the 86 charges brought against him for planning and executing the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai.

The death penalty will not be implemented immediately. Kasab has the option of appealing to higher courts, and can also file a mercy petition for the consideration of the President.

Special Public Prosecutor in the Mumbai attack case Ujjwal Nikam today expressed happiness over awarding of death sentence to Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab for the carnage, saying the verdict has delivered justice to the families of the victims. "I am happy about the verdict.

Nikam, who fought India's biggest terror attack case, said the "fair and open trial in the case" has given the message to the entire world that in India everybody, even a dreaded terrorist, gets full opportunity to defend himself. Speaking on the trial procedure in the special court, he said Kasab tried every trick to mislead the court on several occasions. "Sometimes he would ask for chicken biriyani, sometimes he would tell us that he wanted to tie a rakhi. He used all the theatrics so as to save himself," Nikam said

The 22-year-old Kasab, from Pakistan's Punjab province was seen crying as he was led back to the court room after stepping out briefly with the judge's consent to drink water.

At one point, special judge M.L. Tahaliyani asked the defence lawyer if Kasab wanted to say something. When the question was posed to him, Kasab just shook his head. He looked irritated and again sat down. The judge then spoke directly to the prisoner in Hindi: 'Do you want to say something?' Kasab looked at the judge blankly, shook his head and sat down.

Speaking later, Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said: "Those were crocodile tears." Nikam went on to recite a Sanskrit verse to mean that no matter how much milk is given to a snake, it will always spew venom.

२) गायत्री मातेने नवअंकूर ऎश्वर्य प्रदान करुन सिद्ध केलेले प्रणव स्वरुप प. पू. श्री अनिरुद्ध बापू, प. पू. श्री नंदाई व प. पू. सुचितदादा यांचे प्रत्यक्ष वास्तव्य याच तीर्थक्षेत्री असून त्यांच्या प्रत्यक्ष दर्शनाचा व चरणमुद्रांच्या दर्शनाचा लाभ भक्तास होतो तो याच तीर्थक्षेत्री.
३) "मी तुला कधीच टाकणार नाही" या सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या कृपावचनामुळे प्रत्येक भक्ताचा अनिरुद्ध चरणांशी श्रद्धायुक्त गुरुभाव दृढ होतो, तो याच तीर्थक्षेत्री.
४) अकारण कारुण्य, क्षमा व माझ्या अनन्य भक्तीची स्विकृती करून माझ्या परिश्रमाला, कुवतीला व क्षमतेला सातत्याने बल, भक्ती आदी ९ ऎश्वर्य पुरविणारे, माझ्या हक्कचे व प्रेमाचे स्थान म्हणजेच धर्मासन अर्थात धर्माचे आसन व पावित्र्याचे अधिष्ठान असलेला साक्षात माझा बापू श्री अनिरुद्ध, त्याच्या धर्मासनाचे दर्शन होते. तेही याच तीर्थक्षेत्रात.
५) नित्य आरती, जप, उपासना, विष्णू सहस्त्र नाम इत्यादी भावपूर्ण दैनंदिन कार्यक्रमाबरोबर "श्रीरामरसायन", "मातृवात्सल्यविंदानम" या ग्रंथांच्या नित्य पठ्णामुळे माझ्यातील भक्तीभाव सहज प्रकट होऊन भाववृद्धी होते ती याच तीर्थक्षेत्री.
६) सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या संकल्प शक्तीतून प्रकटलेल्या एकमेव अद्वितीय अशी "त्रिविक्रमाचे" प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन घडते ते याच तीर्थक्षेत्रात.
७) प्रणवस्वरुप श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या प्रेमाच अखंड स्त्रोत त्यांच्य सगुण साकार रुपामुळे मला प्राप्त होतो तो याच तीर्थक्षेत्रात.
८) ज्याचा मुळ गुणधर्म श्रद्धावानांना क्षमा करणे आहे. त्या श्रीमद पुरुषार्थ पुरुषोत्तम यंत्राचे प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन होते ते ही याच गुरुक्षेत्रात.
९) आदीमाता गायत्री, तिच्या महिषासुरमर्दीनी अशा सुक्ष्म रुपात प्रकटली आहे ती याच तीर्थक्षेत्रात. त्या महिषासुरमर्दीनीचे व "घंटा" रुपात असलेल्या तिच्या अस्त्राचे दर्शन होते ते याच गुरुक्षेत्रात.
१०) पृथ्वीला धारण करणारे काळ्यापाठीचे कूर्म श्रद्धावानांना विश्वात कुठेही गेलात तरी गुरुक्षेत्रम्शी कायम जोडून ठेवणारे आहे. त्या काळ्यापाठीच्या कूर्माचे दर्शन होते. ते ही याच तीर्थक्षेत्रात.

ज्याक्षणी मी माझं नातं गुरुक्षेत्रमशी दृढ करतो, त्या क्षणी मला सद्गुरु श्री अनिरुद्धांच्या कृपाप्रसादाच सहज लाभ प्राप्त होतोच. तसेच जेव्हा मी गुरुक्षेत्रमला वारंवार येत राहतो. तेव्हा मला सर्व १०८ तीर्थक्षेत्रांचे दर्शन केल्याचे पुण्यही मिळतेच व त्याचबरोबर माझ्या पापांचे/चुकांचे क्षालन होते. म्हणून माझ्यावर नित्य कृपा करणार्या प्रणव स्वरुप श्री अनिरुद्धानां प्रार्थना करुया की....

"हे सद्गुरुराया, तू माझा आधारस्तंभ आहेस, वात्सल्यपिता आहेस आणि रक्षक बंधू म्हणून माझे कवच ही आहे। म्हणून हे देवाधिदेवा अनिरुद्ध, तू माझे अद्न्यान दुर करून माझा पुरुषार्थ सिद्ध कर, माझ्या जीवनाचे गोकुळ कर, माझ्या कुटुंबाचे रक्षण कर. तू माझ्यासाठी केलेला प्रत्येक संकल्प माझ्या उद्धारासाठीच आहे म्हणून हे गुरुराया तुझ्या चरणांजवळ राहून मी विनम्रपणे तुझ्या सर्व नियमांनी स्वतःला बांधून घेत आहे."

The blood donation campaign at Bandra proved to be a worthwhile gathering for everyone to foster social relations and experience a fulfilling sense of contribution towards humanity by donating blood and spinning charkha

The Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation (SAUF) and Aniruddha Samarpan Pathak (ASP) joined hands to organise a one-of-its-kind blood donation camp, where the blood donors who were rejected on medical grounds were asked to spin the charkha and weave cloth. While speaking about the camp Sunil Mantri, chief executive officer, SAUF-ASP, says, “For the first time in the history of our organisations we have utilised the rejected blood donors of the camp. We provided them with charkhas, so that they can weave cloth which will later be used to make school uniforms for the under privileged children. In this way even the donors who couldn’t donate blood were given a chance to contribute towards the society.” The concept for such a camp originated when the teams of the two organisations saw that the rejected donors can also be part of the camp. “The spindled threads will be used to make school uniforms for the under-privileged children staying near Virar, Vasai, Shahpur and Kolhapur. This concept was introduced to make everyone feel a part of the camp and contribute towards humanity,” explained Mantri. Amit Katwankar, who was rejected from donating blood due to jaundice that he got two months ago, shares, “Spinning the charkha is quite simple. Even a common man can spin two spindles in less than two hours. The process to weave cloth and still be a part of the camp is also a lot less painful.” About 5000 people from different walks of life gathered at IES School, Bandra (East) from 9am to 5pm to donate blood. Out of those, 3083 donors successfully donated blood while the others spun charkhas for the school children. Staff members of the 27 blood banks were present at the camp to assist the donors. Dr Vikas Bade, chief coordinator of the camp, informs: “The blood donation campaign had started a decade ago. However, the utilisation of the rejected donors has been introduced from this year onwards. The initiative is a way to extend support to humanitarian causes through such services. Our medical team also guides people towards a healthy diet and lifestyle, thus encouraging good health for a better tomorrow.” Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of Police (west) who was one of the donors at the camp, says, “Such proactive steps for the betterment of the society can be called upon as devotional work.” Gupta commended the medical staff, SAUF – ASP volunteers and donors positive response to the campaign, citing high turnout at the venue in a bid to meet the increasing demand of donated blood, especially the rare blood types. http://www.mumbaimirror.com/index.aspx?Page=article&sectname=City%20Diary%20-%20Communities&sectid=70&contentid=2010041220100412194201127642d8ad0
