New Year Special Issue, Pratyaksha, the Daily

The unending misery and suffering of fellow citizens touched the heart of this Mahatma (great soul). His clothing was representative of his half-naked, starving brothers. For the sake of pathetic helpless, his hands reached out for a unique weapon - The Charkha

The wheel of charkha turned, gathered momemtum, fuelled by (drawing strenght from) the moral strength of this Mahatma. That was the moment that the charkha became a symbol of the light for Indian independence as also a means of karmayog (Discipline of Action) for the patriots. For the Indian, it is therefore a mark of commitment, devotion and sacrifice. But has it been reduced to a mere symbol and nothing more? Certainly not! The wheel of the Mahatma's charkha is in fact gathering speed and spinning at reassuring and definite pace.

A detailed overview, right from the struggle for independence to this moment of the social and the economic turns caused by the wheel of the charkha in ....

The New Year Special Issue of Dainik Pratyaksha' that Traces a Journey'...

The Charkha
- All that it was, that it is and that it will be.

Every Special Issue of Pratyaksha generally has a custom that the opening write-up of it is normally written by Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu, Himself. Accordingly readers are requested to secure their copies from their local newspaper vendors in advance to take maximum advantage of this great opportunity.

TriVikram

The following write up is the extract from the speech of Maha-dharma-varman Dr. Yogindrasinh Joshi's Aniruddha Poornima speech where he has clearly described the origin and importance of TRIVIKRAM.

Trivikram is Anirruddha Himself, the Omkar, the Paramshiv, the Mahavishnu. It is the Gun Pratik (symbol) of Lord Harihar. Tri means three and Vikram means victory or to win over. Trivikram wins the entire universe in just three steps. Trivikram further means One who accomplishes various victories. Aniruddha bears the form of Trivikram. Lord Parmatma as Aniruddha has taken form of TRIVIKRAM to throw open His Nav-Ankur-Aishwaryas (Nine Forms of divine virtues) to His children i.e. Shraddhavans.

Why does Aniruddha have to bear this form?
It is because we as humans have been steadily blocking His way of entering our lives because of various Pradnya Aparadhs (breach of guidelines laid down by Lord Parmeshwar i.e. Lord Dattaguru of Satya, Prem and Anand). So to widen this road, Aniruddha has to take this form.

Trivikram is the support for all the Shraddhavans. It enhances the principle of 'Pavitrya Hech Praman' (Purity is the only Reference). Trivikram kills evil, propagates and enhances the righteousness and establishes Maryada. Trivikram makes life beautiful and mannered. Trivikram is Prem-agni i.e. pure form of love. One can worhship TRIVIKRAM however he wants with pure bhav.

Physical Description of TRIVIKRAM
(Please refer the photograph of Trivikram attached above)

>>> Trivikram has a black base called Dharmasan. Dharmasan represents purity.

>>> Above it there are two pink flowers of lotus supported by strings. These flowers have 9 petals.
The right string represents Pingala nadi (central cerebral cord) in the human body which stands for Sun and His warmth and also represents river Yamuna. This cord also represents love of Goddess Mahishasurmardini.
The left string represents the Ida Nadi which stands for the moon and his calmness and also represents Goddess (river) Ganga or Ganges. (Both these cerebral cords originate from Cerebellum i.e. the lower part of the brain and end at the coccygeal area i.e. the bottom-most part of spinal cord. This cord also represents love of Goddess Anusaya.
There is also the third cord which stays invisible called Sushumna which represents love of Goddess Gayatri.

>>> Enclosed between these strings of lotuses is the black colored, pole-shaped structure called Vajradand. Vajradand represents love. This is the support of the Universe, support of all the Shraddhavans.

>>> Above this Vajradand is placed another flower of lotus called Vajrakamal which again has 9 petals. This Navdal Kamal represents Goddess Jagdamba who is completely filled with divine brightness. The 9 petals represent Navvidh Nirdhar (9 fundamentals) and 9 Saman Nishthas (Equal Considerations) of all the Shraddhavans as given by P. P. Bapu in Shreemad Purushartha Grantharaj.

>>> Between these strings of lotuses and the Vajradand but immediately above the Dharmasan there are two circular discs. Right one of Blood Red color and left with Turmeric Yellow color which represent Sun and Moon respectively. Sun represents Truth, it represents Jathar-agni (energy in stomach) in the human body and Moon represents happiness, it represents Dyanan-agni (zeal to learn).

>>> The three colors found in TRIVIKRAM i.e. Red, Yellow and Black represent Kumkum, Turmeric and Abir or bukka which are considered extremely pure elements.

>>> This Trivikram is a figure complete in itself.

The blossoming of the petals of this Navdal lotus of TRIVIKRAM in our body would be proportional to the blossoming of our Bhav (thinking and considerations of our mind about love and faith towards the Lord).

As described above the 3 steps which TRIVIKRAM takes in our life are
1) Akaran Karunya i.e. Unconditional and unreasoned love
2) Kshama i.e. forgiveness
3) Acceptance of Sharanya (complete surrender at Lord's feet)

Accordingly the three steps that we need to take to reciprocate Trivikram are
1) Dhyan i.e. Devotion towards Trivikram
2) Chintan / Abhyass i.e. study and practice of what is proposed by Lord
3) Dhyas i.e. only one wish that I want Him (Lord)

These 3 steps can also be defined as
1) I am Your's
2) I am only Your's
3) Forever I am only Your's .
(Here I represents worshipper and You his Lord)

What is the Need of TRIVIKRAM ?
>> Lord Paramshiv's symbol is Pindi, likewise Aniruddha is symbolically represented by this TRIVIKRAM.

>>> Any divine idol of Lord always needs periodic charging but TRIVIKRAM is the charge in itself. There is no need to do its Pratishthapana or establish it. He is self established.

>>> TRIVIKRAM endows upon us pure bhav and also increases it.

>>> One who worships this TRIVIKRAM with love gets automatically connected to it.

>>> Through this TRIVIKRAM Aniruddha demands our under-developed lotus and endows us with His fully developed lotus.

>>> TRIVIKRAM would end the worshippers' punishments i.e. his dush-prarabhda.

>>> TRIVIKRAM is the gini (divine power) who grants all your righteous wishes at the earliest.

Finally as a delight for everyone P. P. Bapu said that this TRIVIKRAM would be soon available to everyone to be worshipped at their homes in form of replicas, as lockets to be wore in neck, etc. But worshipping this TRIVIKRAM in its original form is the best. TRIVIKRAM would be worshipped on every Thursday at Hari Guru Gram in between the Marathi and Hindi discourse given by Bapu. The worship would be called Sukhasavarni.

Code Of Conduct (निश्चित मापदंड)

SACCHIDANANDOSTAV

A man is basically fond of UTSAV – functions and ceremonies. His main need is the attraction for HIM, which is its specialty. When we say functions or UTSAAV there comes different types of VRATVAIKALYA (fasts and different types of worships to be performed).
The actual meaning of VRAT is the one, which gives UCHIT Direction, and UCHIT GATI while the meaning of VAIKALYA is the one which removes my incapability or weakness or handicappness.

We all know that the real VRAT was taken by and followed in many births by BHARATA and that is of PADUKA-POOJAN.

This is the greatest VRAT which will never have an ending (SANGATA)and that is gifted to all devotees by BHARATA. SAINT.

TULSIDAS describes very sweetly the greatness of BHARATA as the entire world praises and chants RAMNAM but RAM himself praises BHARATA.

We can see that mostly all VRATAS are related with Ramayana. GUDHIPADAVA – the New Year as per HINDU people was started celebrating since RAMAYANA. When RAM returned back to

AYODHYA after getting Victory over RAVAN, all AYODHYA citizens raised GUDHI in the city as symbol of their JOY that their King RAM has returned back.

What is SACCHIDANANDOSTAV ?

This is unique of its own type (AKMEVADWITIYA). The main objective of the SACCHIDANANDOSTAV is to remove the hurdles and choke-up from our life.

We see when the water gets clogged it starts sinking and that water can not flow. Our beloved P.P.BAPU only can give us this ANIRUDDHATVA and the continuous flow of ANAND in our life because there is no one who can resist HIM in any where or at any time or in any KAL or any direction. It is seen that as medium is changed resistance starts coming in the flow of any thing. But for ANIRUDDHA there is no need of medium to enter or to come or to reach to His devotees.

PADUKA is the bridge for us to reach us to HIM. HE is standing in NINTH MITI (dimension)and we can’t cross even third dimension , so how common man can reach to HIM. So SAMIRDADA gave us SAGUN UPASANA through which automatically we perform NIRGUN UPASANA also. HIS CHARAN and HE is not different.

HE is always present where HIS CHARAN are. PADUKA is such thing which is visible to me in 3rd dimension.

SAMIRDADA told the PRINCIPLE that he catches HIM who catches HIS PADUKA tightly in his heart. SEETAMAI blessed BHARATA and SHATRUGHNA that they themselves are CHIRANTAN (FOREVERunending, indestructible) PADUKA of RAM. So BHARATA offered us these CHINMAY PADUKA to us.

SACCHIDANANDOSTAV can be described in the 3 parts .
1. ANIRUDDHA ATHARVASHIRSH –PRATISTHAPANA POOJA
2. NITYA POOJA
3. PUNARMILAP AVAHAN

PUNARMILAP AVAHAN is the highest peak of BHAKTI.

It is reinvitation to be given to HIM to come and to meet us After BHARATA took RAMA’S PADUKA, he used to invite RAM every day … YEI VO ANIRUDDHA...

This pooja gives us all types of 16 AISHWARYAS. This STOTRA has capability and power to fully develop all 16 petals of VISHUDDHA CHAKRA, which is very important CHAKRA to be fully purified and developed.

A man has mixed type of these 16 petals- some are pure , some are impure, some are in buds form, some are not completely developed. To establish TRIPURARI TRIVIKRAM CHINHA in our VISHUDDHA CHAKRA it has to be fully converted in to PURITY (POORNA SHUDDHATA)

To become VANAR from NAR (man) this CHAKRA should be fully developed and no other thing in the world is so easy as this SACCHANANDOSTAV, which can do this.
There are no restrictions that how should be the decorations. Even there are no restrictions for death, birth and even menstrual periods of women. Even if any mistake happens then there is no need of tension or any fear. P.P. BAPU is capable of protecting us from any sort of mistakes occurred unknowingly.

Even there is no restriction of performing ARTI for 2 times .

What is difference between usual PADUKA POOJAN and MARGSHISH PADUKA POOJAN?

Usually PADUKA POOJAN is done for personal purposes like any wishes are fulfilled or any auspicious occasion is going to occur or any wish is to be fulfilled. That means we were doing PADUKAPOOJAN for our wishes or fruit-gaining reasons. But we don’t know what is our exact need. But HE knows what we require exactly to face further problems in our life.
Our PREMPRAVAS will begin with this SACCHIDANANDOSTAV, so that all resistances or stagnation will be removed away and we should not face the problem of asking any thing from HIM.

This MARGASHISH PADUKA POOJAN will give us that road where PHALASHA will not at all be created. MARG SHISH means the one who guides and SADGURU is the only one who guides His bhaktas on UCHIT way.

We are going to sing ANIRUDDHA ATHARVASHIRSH in this SACCHIDANANDOSTAV, which will destroy our instability of mind and confusion. ATHARVA means GURUTEJA.

SAMIRDADA’S KARUNA is so great that he has even considered about illiterate people and separate provision is made for them also.

RESTART OF SADGURU PADYA-SPARSHA AND A COMPLETELY NOVEL AND CHANGED UPASANA SCHEDULE FOR ALL THURSDAYS

Discourse by Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu on 8th October 2009

On the Thursday, 8th October 2009, Param Poojya Aniruddha Bapu delivered His discourse as usual again at New English High School grounds at Bandra East, Mumbai.

To every body’s surprise P. P. Aniruddha Bapu announced a completely novel, beautiful and a changed program schedule of all the upasanas that are conducted on all Thursdays. The implementation of this program has started from Thursday, 5th November 2009.

P. P. Bapu further specified the entire changed itenary of Upasanas on Thursdays as follows:

ITENARY OF UPASANAS ON THURSDAY'S :

>>> Upasana would start exactly at 7 : 00 pm.

>>> As earlier, the two Beej (Basis) Mantras of Aniruddha Upasana Trust i.e. “Om Krupasindhu Shri Sai Nathaya Namah” & “Om Abhayadata Shri Swami Samarthaya Namah” would be chanted as usual for 24 times and 14 times respectively at the very start of the Upasana.

>>> Instead of Hanuman Kavach (that used to be recited so far) another Mantra of Lord Hanumant “Om Shri Ramadootaya, Hanumantaya, Mahapranaya, Mahabalaya Namo Namah” would be chanted.

>>> Aradhana Jyoti 14 : would also be chanted during Upasana:
ll Om Namo Hanumate Rudravataraya Par-Yantra-Mantra-Tratak-Nashakaya Sarva-jwar-cchedakaya Sarva-vyadhi-nikruntakaya Sarva-bhaya-prashamanaya Sarva-dushtamukh-stambhanaya Sarva-karyasiddhi-pradaya Ramdootaya Swaha ll

>>> Datta-Stavan Stotra would also be chanted. (The hard copy of the same would be available for free for all the devotees in Shri Kshetra Aniruddha Gurukshetram).

>>> All these recitations would last for about 20 - 22 minutes.

>>> Marathi Pravachan (Discourse) on Vishnu Sahastranaam would start at sharp 7 : 20 pm

>>> Gajars would start at 8 : 15 pm and end at 8 : 40 pm

>>> Aarti (" Aarti Saibaba ...") would start at 8 : 45 pm.

>>> Darshan would start at 9 : 05 pm and continue till 10 : 15 pm

>>> Hindi Pravachan on Shri Sai Sat Charitra would start at 10 : 20 pm. (Every Thursday Bapu would speak on one individual Aadhyay (chapter) of Shir Sai Sat Charitra).

>>> Finally the program would end with Aarti ("Om Sai Shri Sai Jai Jai Sairam ...").

>>> The newly inaugurated Trivikram would be displayed for darshan in the basement area of Hari Guru Gram during rains and on ground at other times. This Trivikram would be the Guna-pratik (Symbol of Character), Samarthya-pratik (Symbol of Strength), Aadhyatma-pratik (Symbol of Sprituality) of Aniruddha Upasana Trust as its Drushya-pratik (Visual Symbol) is Flag and Dhwani-pratik (Vocal Symbol) is "Hari Om". This would rest at Shri Kshetra Aniruddha Gurukshetram for other times.

>>> Sukh Savarni would be held in front of this Trivikram. The poojan and event would be carried by Param Poojya Nandai or Param Poojya Suchitdada or Param Poojya Samirdada or Respected Swapnilsinh or Respected Paurassinh. If Param Poojya Bapu is travelling on any particular Thursday then Sukh Savarni won't be conducted. Portrait of Ek Mukhi (one faced) Lord Dattatrey would be kept behind Trivikram during Sukh Savarni. One can demand anything (which is pure in its form and concept), one can confess, one can decide on any particular topic or action he has to take during this ritual.

CHANGES IN THURSDAY'S UPASANA STRUCTURE:

>>> From now on at whichever venue, Thursday's Pravachan and Upasanas would be carried, would be referred as Hari Guru Gram. (So in the current scenario New English School in Bandra (East) where these activities are carried would be referred as Hari Guru Gram).
*** No Shraddhavan should refer it as Pravachan Sthal (Venue) or New English High School but should be referred only as Hari Guru Gram ***

>>> Hari Guru Gram would be from now on considered at par with other Upasana Centres across the globe.\

>>>
P. P. Samirdada and Respected Swapnilsinh would function as Pramukh Sevaks (Chief Volunteer) for this Centre.

>>> The Karyakarini (Managing Committee) of this Centre would include the two Chief Executive Officers of the Trust along with the Pramukh Sevaks. (Currently Sunilsinh Mantri and Maheshsinh Zantye).

>>> Thursday's Upasana would be little different from Upasana's conducted on local centre's on Saturday's but over and above would have a structure similar as Saturday's upasanas.

>>> Volunteers will have to mark their Sign-in and Sign-out timings compulsorily while entering the Hari Guru Gram and also while leaving them.

>>> In case some volunteer has to leave Upasana in middle, he /she will have to take necessary permission from his / her Seva Coordinator.

>>> If any of the volunteers would not be in position to attend Upasana on 3 consecutive Thursday's then they will have to inform in writing about the same to their respective Seva Coordinator preferably in advance. (This letter can be given even after one has rejoined the seva but couldn't give it before time because of some unscheduled reason).

>>> If any volunteer out of no genuine reason does not attend Upasana for continuous 3 Thursdays then his batch will be suspended.

>>> Arrangement would be made for Volunteers to take Paddya (Feet) Sparsha of Sadguru. (Arrangement for making Paddya (Feet) Sparsha of Sadguru available for bhaktas would be soon be unveiled.

>>> Soon structure of Upasana conducted on Saturday's at local Upasana Centres would also undergo a change. Bapu promised bhaktas that He would reintroduce what they have been missing in the last changed upasana. He would give them what they like and what they want.

>>> CD of Thursday's discourse by Bapu would be played on all the Upasana Centres on Saturdays.

>>> Bapu also declared that Trust is busy rolling out films on Life and Works of Great Saints viz., Meenavahini, Chaubal Ajoba, Sadhanatai, etc.

BAPU'S DESCRIPTIONS ABOUT IMPORTANCE OF VARIOUS MANTRAS IN THE ABOVE OUTLINED UPASANA
:

While describing the inclusion of “Om Shri Ramadootaya Hanumantaya ..." mantra P. P. Bapu explained that in His complete life He has never searched for Lord Hanumant outside, as He felt His presence inside Him. Incidentally this is the favourite mantra of P. P. Bapu’s human mentor (Sadguru) Shri. Gopinath Shastri-Padhye. Further the icing on cake is that, this mantra was being continuously chanted during P. P. Bapu’s birth by His grandmother. Also this mantra is impregnated and imparts all the 8 purusharthas described by P. P. Bapu to the recitor. This mantra is also filled with complete surrender (sampoorna sharanya) towards Sadguru. This mantra’s order of composition is exactly similar to the order in which one receives blessings (krupa) from the Lord. The entire journey of an individual is imbibed in this mantra. Bapu said that this mantra is a side-effectless medicine.

Speaking more about Lord Hanumant, Bapu further explained importance of Ramdoot (Representative of Lord Ram) i. e. Lord Hanumant. He said that one experiences Trupti (satisfaction) in his life only because of this Ramdoot. Bapu further examplied how Lord Hanumant comes to our help and how we should notice His arrival. Whenever one suddenly remembers some forgotten answer while writing some examination it should be immediately recognised that Lord Parmatma has sent His Ramdoot, Lord Hanumant for help our help. Similarly whenever someone suddenly applies brakes which actual averts an accident then this also should be taken as a sign of Ramdoot's arrival. Person's quick-wittedness and street-smartness is also because of Lord Hanumant.

While describing the inclusion of Dattastavan Stotra Bapu narrated the story of how the mantra evolved. While Lord Nrusinh Saraswati was staying with Lord Dattatrey He used to chat with Him many a times at night. One day Lord Nrusinh said to Lord Dattatrey that the goal of His life was coming to an end and hence before returning in His original form He wanted to build kavach (protective armour) of His children (devotees). This routine was observed for continuous 29 days. Finally Lord Dattatrey kept His hand on Lord Nrusinh and recited a mantra. This mantra is referred as Dattastavan Stotra. Bapu while further explaining importance of this stotra said that none of the holy recitations start with words bhoot, pisach but this stotra does start with these word. This mantra actually imparts power to fight these unholy powers. Bapu also explained a story of Lord Dattatrey and Sahastrarjun. At the end of the story Bapu explained that Lord Nrusinh has written a stotra describing this Sahastrarjun, who was shishya (disciple) of Lord Dattatrey. One who recites this stotra gets everything He has lost. Bapu further explained by raising a question that if a stotra of a shishya of Lord Dattatrey can make such a huge difference then what difference would reciting stotra of Lord Dattatrey Himself would make?

Sasoon Hospital Cleanliness Seva by Pune Kendra on 13th September’09

The Sasoon Hospital Cleanliness Program was held on 13th September'09. Before 13th September'09, the survey of the Sasoon Hospitals main building was done. As the Hospital premises consists of large area, the ground floor and first floor cleanliness was considered for the seva. The timings were from 10.00 am till 1.00 pm.

There were 157 Volunteers. The Seva started at 10.00 am by reciting Vijay Mantra. Then the teams were made with one or two group leaders who were directing the Volunteers for the smooth functioning of the Seva. The material required for cleaning was also provided by the Hospital.

The staircases, pillars, floors, fans, lights, walls and the spider webs on the walls were cleaned. As there is continuous flow of patients and their family members, the area is always dirty. People do spit on walls, pillars, in the ducts, from the windows, doors.

Thus at 1.00 pm, by reciting the Shanti Paath we ended up the Seva. The area was cleaned and there was a good change in the look of the floors of the Hospital.

Cyclone Warning to Mumbai

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a cyclone alert for south Gujarat, implying a wet Wednesday for Mumbai. The

Met department has also warned of heavy winds in Juhu, Versova, Cuffe Parade, Colaba and Worli in the next 24 hours. Hutments along the coast will face the worst of it.

Not that Mumbai minded the light showers across the city on Tuesday; they brought the temperatures down by a few notches. The temperatures dropped in the city to a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius in Colaba and 26 degrees Celsius in Santa Cruz. The relative humidity also came down to 87 and 77 per cent in these areas, respectively, giving some relief to the city.

Officials said the rainfall was due to a depression over south-east and adjoining east-central Arabian Sea moving towards the north-west. It intensified into a deep depression and lay centred on Tuesday morning, about 470 km west of Mangalore and southwest of Goa and 700 km south-southwest of Mumbai.

Weather scientists who are tracking the deep depression said it is moving north-west towards south Gujarat. "The system is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm and move in a northerly direction for some more time and then north-northeastward to cross South Gujarat and the North Konkan coast,'' said deputy director-general of meteorology, Mumbai, R V Sharma said:

Due to the deep depression, coastal parts of Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra are expected to experience winds with speed of up to 85 kmph over the next two days. "It is expected to cross south Gujarat and north Maharashtra coast between Mahuva and Dahanu by early hours of November 12,'' an alert issued by IMD said.

Sharma added: "Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Konkan, Goa and Maharashtra is expected over the next few hours,'' he added.

"We usually see a post-monsoon cyclone season in November. Many years ago, a similar situation had occurred on the eighth of the month. The condition of the sea during the next 48 hours is likely to be very rough. Heavy and gusty winds are expected along the shore.''

The met department has, therefore, sent out warnings to fishermen and citizens to not venture near the sea or along the coast.

The department is also in communication with the state officials and the BMC. "We are just observing the situation as of now. It may or may not get worse,'' said Sharma. A similar warning has been issued to the fishermen in Gujarat.

The sea will be rough over Lakshadweep area, along the coast of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. There will be heavy rains over Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep over the next two days.
